Description

As clinicians, there’s often self-imposed pressure to maintain an “I have it all figured out” attitude in order to maintain a sense of control in an uncontrollable situation. This circle emphasizes the importance of vulnerability and transparency in a clinical setting, and how humility not only can help build lasting rapport with clients, but also can disrupt our own destructive behavioral patterns.

Breathwork is a proven method of unearthing and resolving trauma, regulating the nervous system, and inspire a lasting sense of wellbeing. This somatic practice can help your clients overcome nervous system dysregulation and experience a sense of “instant gratification” relief, often after just one session.

This course is designed for mental health professionals, clinicians and students interested in deepening their practice by learning about the benefits of breathwork in working with trauma clients.

All Breathwork for Recovery workshops meet the qualifications for 2 continuing education credits for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. CAMFT approved CE provider #146365. Breathwork for Recovery maintains all responsibility for this program/course and its content. Course Completion certificates will be awarded at the end of the course in exchange for a completed evaluation form.
